The J's Club Shack Story

J's Club Shack is a family-owned-and-operated business run by Jason Mueller, formally of Pro Golf Discount of Simi Valley. Pro Golf Discount of Simi Valley was open 20 years and served the Ventura County area. Pro Golf was known for its excellent customer service, on-site club repair, and the best fittings around.

The Pro Golf years provided Jason with hands-on and structured training of golf club fitting, repair, and customization. He was an apprentice of Rick Dinary of Roger Dunn Golf and attended the PGA^® golf shows in Orlando, Florida, and Las Vegas, Nevada, completing more than 50 PGA seminars. Jason also studied and worked with Mitchell Golf^TM and True Temper Golf, receiving True Temper's Gold Certified Specialist certification.

J's Club Shack started one day when Brian Reed and Jeff Hache had Jason adjust some wedges at Pro Golf. Brian offered a spot at the Simi Hills Golf Course on the range and Jason jumped at the chance. This was a dream come true! Working on an outdoor range helped refine his fitting style and expanded his golf knowledge. Since moving to the Simi Hills Golf Course, Jason has been able better fit the golfers of southern California and help promote golf in the Ventura County area.
